👂 How Lucky Hears:
After lots of ear infections, Lucky’s eardrum and middle ear were damaged, making it hard for him to hear clearly. Now, he wears a bone-anchored hearing aid (BAHA), which sends sound through the bones in his skull instead! Since sound is different for him, he also uses Sign Supported English (SSE) and lipreading to help him understand conversations.

Hope is kind, patient, and always looking out for others. She’s a natural leader who loves learning, teaching, and making sure everyone feels included.

Hope is hearing, but she’s been using Sign Supported English (SSE) since she was little so she could communicate with her brother, Lucky. She’s proud of her signing skills and loves teaching others that sign language is for everyone!

Tiny Tim may be small, but he’s full of curiosity, excitement, and lots of love! He wiggles his little flippers when he’s happy and blows bubbles whenever he’s excited.

Tiny Tim can’t talk, but he understands signs and gestures, making him a great friend to Lucky & Hope! He proves that communication isn’t just about words—it’s about connection!
